646f9e108c Nahar Singh&#39;s (Amrish Puri) fore-fathers and he have sworn to protect the family and heirs of powerful underworld don, Jodhabhai and his heirs for generations. Nahar would like his son, Ishaan (Ajay Devgan) to continue this tradition, to which he is willinghe friendly with Jodhabhai&#39;s son, Sunny (Rahul Bose). Ishaan&#39;s vow begins to falter when he falls in love with Suman Dev (Tabu). Things gets even more complicated when Suman comes forward to testify that she witnessed Sunny&#39;s car being driven from the scene of a multiple homicide. Sunny finds this out and asks Ishaan to chose between him and Suman, and Ishaan choses Suman. Things escalate out of control when Nahar is killed; and Ishaan becomes a prime suspect in the multiple-family homicide. This movie is quite under rated. Yes it has a low budget, but it has some great character actors and an intriguing story line. But credit has to be given to new comer Rahul Bose whose turnthe hyper violent and unpredictable Sunny is terrifying and one of the best portrayals of a psychotic character in Hindi cinema since Shah Rukh Khans Darr.<br/><br/>Yes the pace is at times slow but the scenes with Rahul Bose and Ajay Devgan will have you on the edge of your seat. I hope to see Rahul Bose in more mainstream hindi cinema in the futurehe has great acting talent and could even bridge the gap and enter into hollywood films. Ajay Devgn subtle and Rahul Boses stunning villain portrayal was the highlight of the movie…Tabu was average and Amrish Puri was also amazing but there was one flaw which was the addition of songs which spoils the flow and a fact cannot be denied that it was the era of 90s where no film can work without songs… This films didn&#39;t require any songit focussed on underworld in the form of real estate mafia…Direction was perfect and dialogues were also nice…For me it&#39;s a highly recommended film just because of the performances and some good direction…No where close to COMPANY, VAASTAV and leave SATYA behind which I consider the best gangster filmwellof bollywood too but has its moments. Nobody would be disappointed.
